Pleasant overall experience. Comfy accommodation with perfect setting near the train station and the old town.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the perfectly clean double room on the top floors. the room was well-equipped with central heating, a work desk, and a television. the location is magnificent and unbeatable, being just next door to the railway station and the city center of Solothurn, Switzerland.

Location and quietness. The Staff was friendly, service minded and spoke a good english

The Wi-fi was not very fast, which is annoying when try to work.

The service was great with parking onsite. They provided a particularly nice breakfast. Location: the hotel was just next door to public transport and good bars.

Hotel Ambassador is a straightforward accommodation option with an incredibly friendly staff and a fantastic restaurant. Guests can enjoy an impressive selection of breakfast goodies, catering to various tastes. the customer care here is remarkable, and the convenience of parking on site is a great perk. the hotel is centrally located, making it easy to visit Southover Grange Gardens on foot. Plus, being near a train station makes traveling around a breeze.

Perfect location, two steps from railway station, just a few more to town centre.

Room rate a bit expensive but still fair

The ambiance was cosy, and I appreciated every second of my really nice time here. the property was wonderful, offering cosy and functional rooms. Its location, close to restaurants and eateries, was excellent. the staff were polite, and everything was good! 😊😁😃.

The room was a good size and we did get a car park outside the front of the hotel.

This hotel was expensive for what was offered but that is Switzerland. We were on the 5th floor but the lift only went to the 4th floor so we had to carry all our luggage a floor. The pillows were very uncomfortable.

Nice hotel for a short stay, staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic, but sufficient. Location is excellent, a few steps away from the trainstation and the city.

I recently had a great stay at this hotel. the staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Secondly, the hotel is conveniently located near the train station, making it easy for me to explore the city. Lastly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, with the added bonus of having a balcony on the top floors. I found the hotel to be a great value for money and I would definitely stay here again if I find myself in the area.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was fantastic and I couldn't find a single thing to improve upon.

We stayed 5 nights in July 2010 during the opera fesitival. We were very pleased and would recommend it highly recognizing the following: The hotel staff spoke good English, was very accomodating and pleasant. The location is excellent w/ just a 3-5 min walk across river to the town center.. The hotel is small and can be likened best to an upscale Bed & Breakfast. They provide a continental breakfast and a limited but small menu that they will prepare anytime during day or evening. They have a small patio in the back where we took most of our meals, a parking area behind the hotel and internet access. If you want value, clean accomodations and a friendly accomodating staff this would be an excellent choice.
